I am so proud... Alex just made up his first word! We went over the railroad tracks on the way home & he exclaimed "KaBouncy"!

The 3 year old alarm clock

Text message from Stan this morning:

The 3 yr old alarm clock. Came in at 7:09 and asked for blue milk, tiny circles and little einsteins.

(Blue milk is plain 'ol milk in a blue sippy cup, tiny circles are cheerios, and The Little Einsteins is one of his favorite shows.)

Happy Rocket

Alex & I ended up watching the Military Channel this morning (it was on when I turned the TV on and it had planes on it... The Stealth & Beyond). Anyway.

Alex was quite enjoying pointing out to me the airplanes & rockets. Then he said "look Mommy, a happy rocket!" "ooh, a baby rocket - going to find it's mommy" "look mommy, rocket goes BOOM"

Between bites of cereal, of course. It was all very funny.

My strawberry really cold

Alex & I stopped for a special treat- smoothies! He got a strawberry-banana made special with rice milk, I got a pina colada, and we're taking a strawberry supreme home for Daddy!

Yummy!
