Another one bites the dust

Alex put the pacifier in his mouth to go to bed and promptly turned to me, pulled it out, and plainly stated "no Mommy, it's squeeky". He then kind of smirked at the thought of a squeeky pacifier and went to get a different one.

On his way back to my lap, I asked him "is that one ok?", to which he popped it in his mouth, gave it a few sucks, pulled it out and with a big grin said "yes, it's ok".

We could then proceed with our reading... Tonight's selections? Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You? and The Adventures of Tigger and Pooh. Tomorrow we'll be back to Go Dog, Go! and Cat in the Hat! (and I have to admit... I might have had a kid just for a good excuse to read Dr. Seuss every night again).
